Thread: Decent Hotel in Singapore?

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by Expat Judge
A friend of mine broke his ankle and is in a half leg cast. He can't walk around at all and needs a couple weeks to sit around and do nothing. He's thinking Singapore. Does anybody now a decent place in Singapore that has cable TV? He's looking at spending around $20-$30 US a night....

Another omen. His car was wrecked days after offering you a ride. Seriously Expat, don't go.

More fatherless porridges running around! God help the world if they too figure out how to get a passport.

Hey, I'm going to be an excellent father. I'll send them birthday cards at the wrong time every year and stalk their mother around the city drunk. One big happy Aussie family!

Just remember to throw a beer can at her head if she don't do the snags right, or she'll never know you care.

No, I think I might have to move it to the next weekend if I can wheedle the change out of my boss.

Dude.. Incheon Airport has this awesome Bus service. If someone can find the website I bet you could find the information to getting a bus directly to the airport. Good luck, sounds like you need a vacation with all your grumpy talk about Sparkling Gorea. Try to get laid, with a woman, and not a goat. Goatsex is not Sparking.

[QUOTE=rockiavelli;320185 Maybe going over Chinese New Year is a bad idea.[/QUOTE] No "maybe" about it. That's the most-expensive time of year to fly to Thailand. Have you considered the ferry to Fukuoka and a Kyusha railpass?

Jet Star flies out of Narita and it's so cheap that my Australian coworkers have been going home for visits whenever they feel like it. Have no specifics, but I know that they are always going on about it, and it seems like every week there's someone turning up in the staffroom with a tan and a dozen packages of Tim Tams.

If you have a choice between trains and buses then you are not in a shithole province. Where I live bus is your only choice. I think the rail strike is still going on, so maybe you should go with the bus. If you leave the night before then being late won't be an issue.
