I know we can't rely on them whatsoever, but i like to use them because i honestly cannot tell yet when I am/am not in ketosis.
Today was day 5. I figured I HAD to be in ketosis today so I experimented with the stix at different times.
upon waking-negative
mid day-negative
after work when slightly dehydrated-negative
one hr later after a 45 min cardio workout-...

a lot of people will get a brain fog, or real headachey, a lot of people can also notice a smell in their urine or bad taste in their mouth. I stay too hydrated to notice the last two, but the first time i entered to ketosis I could TOTALLY relate to the brain fog/headaches around day 4...not so much this time

If you're eating under 30g of carbs a day, you'll be in ketosis. How long it takes you to get there will depend on your training program or how well your body has adjusted to this diet.
