So i've been loading my deadlift trying to get + 2.5kgs outta my 5s each week. Last week i hit 155 kgs for 5 which calculates to a max 1 rep of 174 kgs (385 lbs). So i decide yesterday to tryin170 kgs for doubles.
I warmed up like this
60 kgs for 8
100 kgs for 5
140 kgs for 3
Then i took a rest had to help some dude put on his bench shirt, blah blah that went on for 25 mins.

just a bad night? rested too much between sets?
I dunno, I have not pulled over 365 in 5 weeks, then last friday I went and pulled 405, 425,430 and 440 all in a row....no fricking clue where it came from. Chalk it up to a bad night and move on. Don't worry about it.
1) You can't expect a 2,5 kg increase every week
2) Calculators are best guesses and should be taken with a grain of salt (to put it mildly)
3) As said, you rested too long
4) You make 40 kg jumps in your "warm up"
