Hello all. Do you know those moments when the slightest little detail flushes its way out of your brain and you absolutely cannot recall it? And it drives you incessantly more obsessive? Anyway, I do not have access to my copies of JLB's early work, and for the life of me I cannot recall if Dave's choice of drink during his bender days was Jax or Dixie beer. Any recollection which could help ...

Jax when he was setting lines with his half brother. Bourbon and Jax on the NOPD. Anything that would do the job in just before he married the almost Nun. DW_Adkins

DW right on the money from my knowledge and I like the term almost nun, very good. He and Jack were close friends. Never had a Jax myself. I have an occasiional Redbridge, the GF (gluten free) beer from Budweiser but only at home. Restaurants don't carry it at all. I'm glad that Dave is sober now. He had a serious problem. (I know he's a fictional character - please honey) Jackie
