Anyone have advice on where I could buy some large (2-3 inch) D-rings?? I am making a custom album that is an odd size and I need 12 large D-rings to hold it all together. I have tried some large O-rings, but I am using a custom cut wooden cover (about 1/4 inch thick), and I think D rings will work much better for the pages to lay flat. Is there such a thing as a D ring that opens up to ...

Ok, took me a few moments to realize what you were asking.... Got it.. You are looking for JUST rings, individual ones. So the 'flat' side would be on the spine of the book. Good idea though. Not sure I have ever seen them as 'D' rings..

I know there are D rings already attached as 3 ring binders, I know there are D rings of ALL sizes for making belts and for rappelling equipment and SCUBA...just wanting to find rings that open up so I can use them to bind my album together.
