I'm having the same problem with my 2 1/2 year old!? Lastnight was particularly rough.? He cries and just will not calm down.? We have been having a battle with our little guy too. He has been waking up between 2am and 5am and want to stay up for the day. He did this for almost two weeks and we brought him to the doc. My son is a horrible sleeper. Actually all of my kids are awful sleepers. Once my DD got her 2nd year molars in she started sleeping more consistently through the night. Tia's sleep is terrible too. It takes her forever to fall asleep because she is allegedly scared of so many random things - shadows from the blinds, polar bears coming in the house and eating chicken nuggets (!?!), etc. Once she does fall asleep she usually wakes up 1-3 times screaming in the night and talking about scary giants/ogres/bears etc. For a few weeks she was waking up screaming "don't turn on the bees daddy"...
