Hi, all i`m from egypt and been having much trouble with my new ISP (Vodafone), My Router is Bewan ARV4510PW , which is a Vodafone specific ISP router (yeah they can control the router remotely)
I was checking my Line Noise/ power against this values you mentioned in

If the isp is the same as the phone company see if they could sweep your line and maybe install a new line from pole to the house if it's covered by the phone company.
That high of ping to the first hop usually is something physical

But Mccoffe here is the deal, the ISP said the Telephone exchange is Congested since months and almsot nothing they can do , same goes with thier 1st server (the 1st hop with huge lags) it needs a maor speed upgrade i guess.

No, Problem solved the line stats are ok as attainable rates are up to 24-25 Mbps (ADSL 2+) also the noise margin is good,
as i suspected its that ISP problem, i canceled my contract with them, But seriously i don`t know when the ISP Monoply will end in my country, they Enlisted me in service and next day of subscription with them i called for high latency tehy told me that the exchange is ...
