Started 1 month, 4 weeks ago by JULIELEANNE
Ok, I usually don't do this but MAN DH really ticked me off Halloween night. Due to work schedules, we haven't been able to spend very much time together recently. I was looking forward to this weekend. I want to preface this rant by saying - He usually is a great guy. Really. Halloween Morning: Him: I told my parents we were coming over this ...

When we get back.... Him: A couple guys are on their way over. Me: Are you kidding? Him: You can come out to the bars with us if you want.... Me: Are you kidding??? So his friends show up, use my restroom and they leave. He promises he will only drink a couple of beers, so that it won't be like last time (let's not go there.) I opted to ...

Ugh I'm so sorry all of that happened! <----has to deal with a drunky boyfriend a lot more often than I'd care to admit. So I feel ya, girl.

He was too hungover to function the next day. He said "I'm sorry" but I'm still angry. It was more of an "I'm sorry that you are mad at me" than an "I'm sorry I was a d-bag".

Sorry to hear that he was such a d-bag. I would be furious, too.

It really IS exhausting... I think that's why some men just say the obligatory "I'm sorry" to make it go by faster. That just doesn't cut it with me. I'm more glad then ever now that DBF doesn't have any problems when it comes to drinking. I couldnt handle the phone call about swimming in a river.

I think she has it right ^ your biggest problem are probably the friends. Figure out how to get rid of them and maybe he'll behave a little better!

Do you think his actions are indicative of future problems and the continuation of this adolescent behavior?

my DF 2 years ago drank so much that he "tried" to take a bath and passed out with the water overflowing and his nose 2 inches from the water. he could have drowned. after that we went and talked with a councilor and he doesn't drink like that anymore.
