yeah, i had it tested on my car and i just removed the center console, placed the boot cover over the lever, and put the console back on. okay guys who have this... how are you installing it? Are you cutting it shorter? I understand more why the lotus factory boot doesn't go inside the hole because i don't see how you can stuff the leather in there without it interfering with the ratchet mechanism so you can't get it all the way down... and also getting in the way of the sensor so it's pre-maturely thinking you've got the lever all the way down.
