Thread: Custom EQ in MP3 Players

When I look for a MP3 player to buy, that's a make-or-break deal for me. I always prefer changing the music settings myself, as the presets don't always sound the best. So I'm wondering, why are the big name players starting to exclude them? If select low budget players can easily program a custom EQ option, then it obviously can't be that difficult and/or expensive. So what's the reason for ...

i would look into a zune HD it comes with about 20 presets plus you can download a app that gives you very indepth Eq they are a little less then an ipod for a much better product

I know walkman phones let you have customisable EQ. So maybe their normal MP3 counterparts would do, I would expect so.
