Re: OT Streetfighter FZ1-K by Oli
My first thought was: "Nice work, but waaaaay overkill. Good for showing but not riding." Then I saw the lights-off pictures and thought, "That's even better for showing...but not riding!" Then I saw the lights off picture with the model and thought "What's that bike doing in the picture!??!"...

Wow. I really like this one. The only thing I don't like is the blue rotors and calipers on the front. They should be red to go with the rest of the bike. Other than that looks really good.

You, sir, have an unhealthy obsession with motorcycles. Good for you!...

Is the speedo pretty stable...
Not a problem, dturpen. LOL...I've been researching this so much I feel like an expert on the Buell setup now. I've talked to at least 3 other member with that headlight and read every thread I can find, trying to get everything in place so when the time comes to start buying, I know exactly what I need.
The only reason I'm not doing it RIGHT NOW is because I don't want to miss any riding...
So every day I go back and forth whether or not I should convert my FZ6 to a streetfighter, and I've decided I'm going to do it. I'm in no rush, as money is tight, but I'm doing a lot of research, and one thing has stumped me.
I really like the look of the Ducati Streetfighter headlight assembly. Does anyone know the info on this thing? Where to buy it, compatibility, how much. Any help ...
Call a Duc dealer and ask them! Be prepared for a high number. I bet it will cost you $1100 for the headlight (100% guess). Good luck, and I hope you make it happen, because that would be insanely cool (get the forks and calipers too while you're at it ha!)
Thanks. My Rizoma mirrors just came in, but I think my wife will not let me touch them until Christmas. Can't ride anyway. Today is supposed to get up to 32 degrees here.
I recently added the headlight conversion to my 2006, I was wondering when I go naked is there anything I have to worry about if I go with the FZ1 headlight set-up. Sorry if this has been asked already but I didn't see anything here on it. FZ1-Forum

I drooled when I saw the white FZ6N they offered overseas. This post on SBN pointed me in...
Personally I don't like the single pipe. Everyone has it, the twin Akros on mine look wicked and come across a lot more agressive than the Honda pipe with those two little holes
would like to find the enclosure to go on the back of the instrument cluster to hide the wires, (like the FZ6N has), I really don't want a flyscreen but may have to use one to hide the back of the cluster
