Creatine w/o Lifting?
I don't routinely lift, but I've been playing tennis 3-5 days per week, and I've noticed that after a summer of playing this much, I don't recover from days of hard playing as quickly as I did at the beginning of the summer.
Anyone use creatine to simply help their body recover from hard workouts, and not use it ...
i think Glutamine works better for muscle repair? please someone correct me if I am wrong....creatine will only get you fat if you don't do any weight training.
Why not lift weights? Your tennis and life will be better for it.

ya i have taken creatine for a little bit and i did actually notice some sizable gains, but for me i think that if you can it is by far better to just eat a steak a few times a week. Artificial creatine can do some funky stuff to your body (heart liver and kidney damage to name a few things.)

EricW, you could also read a book called : CREATINE: THE POWER SUPPLEMENT by Melvin Williams, Richard Kreider and David Branch. If you still consider creatine as a retarded supplement after reading creatine studies on pubmed and the above mentioned book, then fine by me. it'd be better for you to take protein supplements or shakes creatine pumps you up, it does help repair muscles faster but so does protein, without the pump up.
