Thread: Cost of Groceries

Is it just me or has the cost of groceries gone up in the last month or two? Seems like I'm spending maybe 10% more for the same stuff. Laundry detergent is my latest whine. For the last year or so I would stock up when my brand went on sale but it hasn't been on sale for awhile and it's not that much cheaper at the dollar store. And cat food is outrageous.

wish I could empathize, but I am one of those people that live for the fall. I love everything about it, and I come alive. I am not a summer person, and that is when I find myself in the house barricaded behind air conditioning. lol I also love the winter. I know, don't shoot me. lol I've heard of some folks that really get very depressed in the fall, especially when their kids go back...

Just another reason to either not have credit cards or pay them off each month. I pay mine in full each month. The only reason I have cc's is for the rewards lol

I am so sorry that you are feeling that way. I had a span of two years that was very similar and it was so hard. If you need to talk, PM me and we will chat. Like I said, I can relate. I hate women like this!!! All I wanted was for my daughters father to be involved in her life, along with his family!! It took them 4.5 yrs to give a crap about her! The lord will have something for Bailey's mother for being so cruel I'm sure. Hugs to you Jonette!

Sorry to hear about this frustration. Seems like the woman who is being ousted from her current place is an opportunist, even if she has not had a lot of contact with other adults. That would be a train wreck of a living situation no matter your mom's age or ability.

Okay I dont know why we are getting these. But they are calling EVERY freaking day. And NO one is ever on the end of the line. Dh gets more pissed than I do about it. And we kills me is we are on the do NOT call list. I just filed a complaint so we'll see if they stop.
