Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by themanster15

You have to turn off DHCP on one of the routers and then just connect them together using one of the LAN ports on each.

Will i be able to hook all the open ports to a computer to get internet? Do i need a crossover cable to connect the routers or should i use the uplink port or just 2 LAN ports?

If you disable DHCP, you shouldnt have to worry about changing it's IP, as it will no longer have an IP address. But yes, a cheap switch is the best route.

Hm, I seem to remember that once DHCP has been disabled, the router disappears. Been a while, though.

Ok I see what you means , when I said I range I was referring the the subnet... (I got lost in the translation) the wired router will get is WAN Ip from the ISP . as example the router DHCP will give lan IP from 192.168.0.50-100 , the wireless router will get is wan address as one include in the 192.168.0.50-100 and we setup the lan as 192.168.2.xxx the computer can't see the DHCP from and other subnet unless you use a router as...
