Oddly enough no one got the correct answer.
You can fix a speckling problem by wiping out the printer with a damp cloth. Speckling, or confetti, is when an inkjet printer prints out pages with speckles of ink on it. This is caused by ink that has leaked out of the cartridges during the print process and collected inside the printer.
