If you are using the one-to-one model and connecting the donor's one-to-one Account to the Opportunity, you can create a summary rollup field that will sum up all opportunites that are "won" with a close date between 12/31/08 and 1/1/10. I have recently upgraded to the NSP and I'm wondering since there is a rollup field for "Lifetime Donation History" can there be a field or s-control for donation history that is the donation history for this calendar year. For tax letters it would be much easier to have a field that included donations just for this calendar year.

That's great news and will be a big help for tax letters. But one question. When I create a rollup summary field with contacts as the master object my only options given for "summarized object" are relationships, connections, and affiliations. Where can I summarize the opportunities?

The trick in the one-to-one model is that you create the rollup summary fields on the Organization, and then create a Formula field on the Contact that shows it. Your formula on the Contact will be of type Currency, and look something like this: Account.Total_Giving_Year_to_Date__c Use the fieldname of your rollup summary field. Hope that's helpful, Steve
