Thread: Comments on bogu FAQ

Started 2 years, 10 months ago by Anime12478
I know you are on vacation and all, but I have something that you might be able to add somewhere. I tend to have a problem where my bogu squeaks a lot to the point where it's kinda annoying. I don't know if it's just my bogu or anything, but I did rectify the problem with mink oil.

My kote have very long cords after the knot, what should i do with them, i mean they are about 15 cm long

Adjust them to how you like, make sure it's right by checking with sensei (many beginners adjust them too tight), then if you're sure cut off the excess.

Yes, I'm sure. It's entirely possible that the AOI guy has the wrong information - it's a common misconception. From here - specific gravity of aluminum ranges from 2.55 to 2.8, titanium is 4.5. The bars of the mengane would have to be noticeably thinner before the titanium one would even weigh the same. Titanium is used in this application for strength, not lightness.

Not even a pound. The weight difference is on the order of 100 g (under a quarter-pound).

Ok in my precedent post I intended to write "for exemple he explained to me that it's NOT because deer is best than clarino". It makes a lot more sense ^-^ sorry for that mistake.
