that glue in the l-14 is probably wax take a very small head screwdriver and GENTLY try to dig it out and you should see a small flat head slot. wouldn't attempt anything without at least a watt-meter inline.if you do turn it mark where you started turning

Without the proper equipment, you'll probably turn that radio into junk.. I'd suggest into finding a shop with a good tech on hand. Good cb shops are hard to find, watch where you take it.

Cant think of what he goes by but definately avoid the douche that runs around Aushtabula ohio in a ty old pickup truck advertising on channel 19 that he can increase your range 7 to 22 miles. He is a total hack. His idea of a tune is cutting out the mod resistor.

That wouldn't be the CB MAN would it ?? He constantly talks about CB DRUGS and how he can get you more "range " ??? I think his p/u used to be red (maybe ) with a big sign on it . Wannabe trucker , look at CB tricks website for the tuneup mod info & good luck !! Also the cbradio magazine on-lin has some videos that show you how to do some basic mods . My eyes are not good enough to even attempt repairs anymore ....
