Click & Buy - Avoid like the plague!!!!
I recently had a few issues with fraud on my bank card which resulted in it being cancelled shortly before my lotro subs were up for renewal.
So I try to log into my click and buy account to update details on my new card - constant error messages using IE and Firefox on everal different ...
Yep, i know very well what you are talking about mate, but forget it, here, no matter what you will say, some one will be always defending that guys, and the problem will remain.
Never noticed that this foruns looks like build just to "positive" persons with "positive" themes? Any problem we bring here and we even can be expeled ...
Oh, but Click&Buy works wonderfully!
At least before you get any kind of a problem. Then it's like a cancer you can't fix or get rid of.

I wasn't able to pay for my subs because C&B considered I didn't exist o.O It was until I found game time cards that I could keep playing...

I fortunately have had no trouble from them thus far but thanks for the heads up.
I only went to click & buy after I had monumental problems with Paypal and not having a credit card.
There really should be more ways to pay, personally I'd prefer a direct debit.
I am soooo regreting not get the lifetime sub.
I had the same thing happen to me last year with lousy customer service throughout.
My debit card was cancelled by myself after somebody cloned it, I knew that my LOTRO subscription was due for renewal and my new debit card wouldn't arrive in time so I cancelled the LOTRO subscription too.
Click & Buy then sent me a nasty e-mail saying that I owed money because they had tried to auto-...
I think the problem is that Click & Buy conisder Codies to be their client and not us players. We're just the moneybots. I once had something iffy happen where my bank retracted some money that I paid for a kinship rename. Without notice Click & Buy then made Codies ban me and they locked my Click & Buy account, so I couldn't even fix the payment. Shoot first and ask questions later seems to be ...

Haha, that's funny in a terribly tragic way. Another great example of "shoot first and ask questions later" from C&B.

Yes they added it after 24 hours or something when some forum thread about click and cry was growing and burning. I had issues with click and cry too, but I was lucky as they just...
Tfb I really don't get why Codemasters even do business with Click and Buy/Ban/Cry/Fail. With all these stories of disaster of epic proportions, thread after thread, issue after issue, why not cut them loose - to me that'd be a sign of responsibility, of a desire to keep us, the customers, pleased and of taking us seriously!

Exactly, Unfortunately I had a problem directly the first time with them last year with the MoM expansion. Click&Buy screwed up in their system wich caused a transaction rollback with the expansion purchase towards Codemasters and caused my LOTRO...
Maybe is not so easy to just cut them lose? Maybe there are some issues involved in this that we dont know about? I'm no expert on the area, so I cant say anything about the matter beyond guessing. Maybe someone out there have a better idea of how these things work and can explain things better to the ignorant one (i.e. me)? But I agree it would be better for everyone involved if they just dropped them.
