Thread: Clean foods

I'm trying to eat clean......... But how important is it? Say I get my calorie needs via a few sweets, meatloaf, and a baked potato. VS Oatmeal, eggwhites, chicken breast and so on. It boils down to from what I have learned 1) to keep muscles full 2) To keep *you* full, via fiber ...and foods that stick to your ribs. WHat do you think of my dinner tonight? ...

Me personally I eat what ever I want. The only thing I do is make sure I get enough protein and stay under my calorie goals for the day. If you're cutting that's all you need to worry about. The only downfall to to eating whatever you want is obviously overall health. I don't make the healthiest choices in foods all the time but I enjoy the hell out of what I eat. I can't keep at it eating ...

The type of foods you eat are extremely important. 1. Generally, food with lots of fat and sugar do not keep you full for long, and sometimes make you crave more. 2. Read up on the GI complex/GI load (in my opinion, the most important part of dieting aside from getting enough protein). 3. Yeah I fully understand what you're saying George. I don't eat like that ALL the time. But I do it more than I probably should. The only thing it really does is allow me to keep my sanity. But bottom line is it still works I always made it more complicated in the past. Wave_Length's thread on BB.com really changed my outlook on what was possible with simplicity. I don't experience the same...

Yeah I fully understand what you're saying George. I don't eat like that ALL the time. But I do it more than I probably should. The only thing it really does is allow me to keep my sanity. But bottom line is it still works I always made it more complicated in the past. Wave_Length's thread on BB.com really changed my outlook on what was possible with simplicity.
