Thread: Choosing mobo for imac mod for xp

I was given one of those all-in-one blue bondi imacs so I'd like to gut it and put in an XP or Ubuntu system for web browsing and music. Just a fun case mod project. It looks like an old TV set. Is a 2.6 mhz processor generally ok these days or must I have a faster system for watching streamed "TV" shows like "The Office"? I'm thinking that some folks here would have enough experience to warn...

It works but I need an XP station and this housing is the right size. I looked up "travertine" but I still don't get the reference. More clues?

How about sticking a bigger drive in,max it out with ram,and run xp virtually inside mac?

It works but I need an XP station and this housing is the right size. I looked up "travertine" but I still don't get the reference. More clues?
