Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by matt_swinburne

I honestly doubt I would be that strong. Good on her.

Poor woman. Even though I have strong views on keeping such powerful animals as pets I pity her. I suspect her finding out she would never see again was devastating for her. I hope she finds some sense of normality in her life again.

Chimps have been added to list of things which are dangerous, right below Zombies, American Democracy, Mafia organisations and Anthrax.

Awesome creature. Pets and zoos are insane ideas, a holdover from the 19th century. Oh well, if we can't have slaves we have to pick on other species!

I humbly suggest her blindness is a blessing. charla-nash-20090506001318.jpg charla-nash-20090506001340.jpg Mind you .. the surgeons have done a heck of a lot to reconstruct "a" face ... just nothing like she was before the attack. This other picture is of a woman who WASN'T attacked by a Chimp. She has no excuse. 48ea4cac300bd3.62577383frogview-gallery.jpg

why her 'friend' thought it would be fun to keep a chimp i have no idea. Poor woman - i could not cope with that.

chimps are cute as babys, I can see why some one would want to have one, but they grow into such powerful animals, they should not be kept as pets. I would think the only thing keeping her strong and keeping her from ending it all is her daughter, Poor girl seeing her mum that way, must be heart breaking.
