I don''t know if the new style are the same, but on the 03-07 classic models, with the radio turned off (key on) you could hold the preset 6 button on the radio and it would change your chime volume. You might give it a try and see if it helps.

Replacing the radio did not fix the problem. I am starting to get aggrevated with my truck. I am at the point where I going to tell them to buy it back. The service department manager told me that as long as we got it documented that it will be covered. I dont keep a truck long enough for the warranty to run out.I dont drive that much. I like my truck but these little problems annoy me. They build these trucks in Mexico to ...

I have never had that problem with my 2009. It goes off for like 3 seconds and doesn`t do it again till I turn off my truck and turn it back on and start driving again.

I went to visit my brother this week & we went to Munday Chevrolet in Spring, TX looking at vehicles. While I was there I thought I might just go talk to a service department person about the issue that I am having with my truck. He told me that the door module needed to be replaced or the radio programming needs to be done. He told me that there is a bulletin out about the door module...

Sounds rough...All I can say is don`t give up on Chevy so easily, It does take time to diagnose things so give them a chance, and like Steven said, why didn`t the dealership you were just at fix it??
