whats the better transfer case oil to get these days/???

I`m a fan of full synthetics, so I`d suggest either Royal Purple or Mobil 1. Can`t go wrong with either choice.

The fluid that goes into your model transfer case is the GM brand AutotracII fluid. You can only get it from a dealership, but it only costs about $7 per liter and you will probably need a little less than 2 bottles for your transfer case. The fluid is blue in color.

Yeah, if you have the auto 4x4 you MUST use the AutoTrac II fluid from GM. Told this and got a long explanation from a buddy of mine at the dealership! Its very special fluid that reacts with a voltage and things like that.. Polaris ATV owners know the same thing about their AWD front hubs.... Matt
