Thread: Chevy Truck World

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by slperkins
I have a 2003 5.3L Sliverado 78,000. When i come to a stop the idle drops down to about 300 rpm which causes the motor to die. It also does it when i make a slow turn like turning into my driveway. No codes are popping up. Battery is good also the alt. is good. Could it be a pcv valve? Any help? Thanks

It could be the fuel pressure regulator. Mine did the same thing and it turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator.
