So...do many people go to UCLA football games at all? I never really thought about it until now. See, last year I used to go to football games with a couple of friends (all girls...) and later on in the year I kinda got into a relationship with one of the girls and broke it off, so now it's kinda awkward to still be going to football games with her and our mutual friends.
Not many of my ...
I usually went alone and met people on the bus over to the Rose Bowl from dorms... I went to every game I didn't have a Quizbowl tournament the day of.
People in my dorm went in groups of friends almost every week. And certainly plenty of people not in frats do go with friends every week. You should go! Support our team!
Awww, and we started out so well..
Oh well , if we're going dining hall we should go early, at like 5:30. That is, if we want a table (or several) close to each other.
we don't have to make this a vote lol since we have more than willing people for both dining halls and bbq, we could just meet on different days. That way, people who want both, can attend both! I persoanlly like both so if we just pick different days, that would be awesome.
How about dining hall for Friday of zero week and bbq for friday of the week after?
You don't even need a wrench for the wooden ones. There's like a peg that locks in the side rails. Push it in with a pen and you can unhook it. It's better to have two people do it (roommate bonding exercise? )
if we changed our major during orientation, should it show up automatically on my.ucla.edu page? cause mine hasn't shown up and its been over 3 weeks since i went to orientation...and if it's supposed to show up, which office should i call to get things cleared up?
also, is sept. 18 the deadline to pay for our tuition (or housing)? and what happens if we're on financial aid..when do we get the...
I changed my major during orientation also, and it hasn't been changed on MyUCLA. But it has been reflected on my DPR, so just check yours to see if it's been updated. I expect if it's on there then you're good.
Yes, September 18 is the deadline. If you have financial aid the money will be disbursed a couple days before the deadline I believe. Tuition should be automatically deducted.
the only thing that bugs me about Office 2007 is the the Excel Chart default lines. They look to cartoonish i.'e. thick bold lines. I also hated the default spacing on Word. I didn't know MSO Ultimate, sounds like a good deal if you want to be legit.
9th grade is not considered in GPA calculations, only 10th and 11th grade. Not great in the GPA department. Probably going to be a reach unless you wrote about something incredibly profound on your essays.
^^^ Very true, I have brown, and his policy is pretty nice... I think a couple will get c's, if someone really did bad, c- (thats the lowest he goes unless you miss the final) and then around a third get c+, and the rest is evenly divided up the line.
"Pick a school you think you'll be happy at and the rest will fall into place." exactly what i'm trying to find out, man: what school i'll be happy at! but i think the answer is clear here: north campus = !! and i don't have to be too worried, if at all.
I basically did your path, minus the fail. I basically waited until my GPA was semi decent before applying. I basically applied for the minor with literally one class before completing the minor. So I went through all the classes before getting into the minor. It's fine. My GPA was not stellar by any means, but it might have helped that I was one class away from finishing the minor. They probably just figured to give it to me since I was...
