Thread: Changing courtesy bulbs

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by Naresh
Hi could someone explain how front and rear interior courtesy light units are removed to change the bulbs? I received some nice xenon white smd led's today which will be going in as soon as I find out how to get the panels off first. (want to make sure so I don't force anything)

It's in the manual buddy ......tells you what comes off and where to lever off. But you will need a small flat blade screwdriver to prise the covers off....... Andy

The covers will come off as clean as a whistle, without any damage, so better than using a small screwdriver which could leave marks, small dents and scuffs. Also perfect for removing wheel centre ...

Just changed these in the dark and the difference is amazing - really crisp xenon light! Now just have to change the glovebox and vanity mirror bulbs and also fit a couple of custom LED's in the boot to add more light. Next on my list is parking sensors (finally!) and puddle lights!
