Thread: Cereal deal next week

I finally tried to roll it last night and it worked for me too. I bought 6 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk. Paid $.23 after Qs and still got my $6Q again! Now I just wish I could find more movie deal boxes.... The one store that had some had the highest prices but now that I know the Q rolls I may go back there again.

I think the movie tickets makes this a great deal! 6 x 3.89 = 23.39 - $10 = 13.39. Is that right? Each ticket is worth $12 so now you can go to the most expensive theater around! Plus you got $6 in free milk! The only thing you can hope for is cheaper cereal but this is not a bad deal at all! I am really hoping to find the boxes with movie codes.

Yep. It ended Wednesday. We went back and got 6 boxes of golden grahams. After using 3 $2/1 coupons, it ended up costing us $2.28 total, or 38 cents a box, plus we got the $6 catalina for $6 free milk.

I did this deal on 10/27 and my $6 milk Q expires 11/10 so I'm guessing based on when you make your cereal purchase it will print with an expiration date 2 weeks out.

Wow, that is great that it rolls. I finally did the deal last night with the pillsbury. I want to do the pillsbury again and then use it on the cereal but my boyfriend is already complaining from all the cereal that we have. But I would like to get two more movie tickets. Those boxes with movie ticket codes are marked pretty high too at my regular Hy Vee I went to, so I might try looking at a different one...even though its still worth it...

Anybody try using the $6 milk catalina on self service?

Here's what HyVee said on Facebook today: This week at Hy-Vee: Buy any 6 General Mills cereals in one shopping visit and save $10 instantly via in-ad coupon and receive a coupon for Free milk to be used on next shopping visit.

All of the cereal at my store was jacked up-- more than $3 a box. I passed. Maybe if I wasn't so tired I would have tried to make it a good deal.

Well, I'm glad something came out finally. I was starting to worry that I'd given you guys bad information.
