Am I the only one who really dislikes Cassie?? The only good Cassandra is Batgirl. Lately "Wonder Girl" has been a nuisance. Cassie goes from needing her heroic way of life to hating it and her teammates from Young Justice then adopting Ares as her mentor, being uncertain about everything and then becoming a whiny little bipolar.
Her relationship with Tim Drake was forced beyond belief (I...
Any time you advocate getting rid of a character for the sake of getting rid of the character (or simply because you don't like said character), you are wrong .
Every character has fans.
Like Myself.
I feel the way you do about cassie about Donna Troy, that Donna is a waste, but she has fans.
Cassie has been for years IMHO the best of all three Wonders, and I am so glad that she is getting her own mini series next month. (Not to mention there are a lot of boards filled with people waiting for it too)
IMHO at the moment Cassie has been the most interesting character on ...
It's understandable that Cassie would be unhappy after Conner died. But DC can't afford to let her wallow in misery for too long, because she has become just as tedious as Superboy before he got killed off in Infinite Crisis. Enough with the damn soap opera, it's time to move her along to a new and different storyline.
I've grown to like her quite a bit. She has been portrayed poorly in some recent issues of things like 52, Amazons Attack, and Titans but I do think she's a worthwhile character.
Now Stargirl on the other hand...
When I first started paying attention to Cassie in the Supergirl books, (before that I could careless.) I thought she was pretty much a straight superherorine with little to no drama, especially during the part when Kara is just hovering around her while she is fighting some gorilla. I was like, "Kara you ***** help her." Then I saw something about Cassie getting into a fight with her mom and ...
For me, I always dislike Cassie.
Cassie Sandsmark's whole existence is being a superhero. She's a lot like Powergirl in that they see themselves as a superhero first, then human.
From how she got her powers to her crush on Supergirl/CMjr to how she interacted with Cissie (Arrowette) after she decided to quit, she's a superhero groupie who made it.
I've always seen her as one of ...

Other then the compete lack of pages shes shown on, how ...
To me, Cassie went from one of the most likeable Titans/YJ characters to the least likeable. It's one thing to wallow in misery, it's another to take it out on everyone around you. She's been so darn miserable to read lately. I am hopeful that this mini-series is the start of bringing back the Cassie I miss.
Personally, I love Cassie, but like most everyone else, I hate the way she's been written since Superboy died. What needs to happen is McKeever needs to get her out of her rut, and back to the character she once was. Thankfully, it looks like Beechen has already started to get the ball rolling on that with his last issue, although I'm not sure how keen I am on a Tim/Cassie relationship...
Problem is You cannot blame the crap happening with WG in AA on just poor writing of her, all the tie-ins and writing were utter trash. The whole things been a mess of people who forgot how to write good stories or likable characters. SG and WG when together on the page barring that AA issues like their appearances in SG post OYL have been amazing, more down to earth, just chilling and everything. AA and how WG has been written in TT the last...

Yes, yes, and New Teen Titans had a huge, huge fanbase back in the 80's. Seriously, it was DC's flagship title before...
Well at one point she might just have to stop calling herself Wonder Girl but would the fans stick with her if she matured into her persona? With the whole Ares angle I kind of thought she might become like Strife, you know like how TV Hercules/Xena had Ares with his two sidekicks Strife and Discord?... I meant to suggest that Cassie would become more like Discord, I forgot Strife was a idiot.

Indigo was doomed as a character the moment she had a hand in killing Donna. Cassie's mini-series will...
Yeah, I guess it does make sense from that standpoint, SUPERECWFAN1. But I still don't know if I like it. I am willing to give it a chance, though. And at the very least, unlike some other relationships that have been thrust upon the DCU lately, this one has been progressing at a fairly slow, delicate clip.
I do really hope that is the case. I actually really liked WG in YJ but in the crap story that was Graduation day and her reaction to that I began to really dislike her. She had more dimension as an insecure tomboy. In Supergirl #19 When SG flies up to Cassandra and Tells her "You're really strong, you know that?" I shook my head and tried not to laugh. I DO want Cassandra to succeed but as it is I'm not getting...
