I'm thinking next year I want a new car... I like the new camaro and a few others but lately I've had my eye on a mitsubishi evolution mr...
I've had my share of muscle cars, but this time I'd like something that turn and has a nice mix of power plus the 4 doors of the evo won't hurt with the kids I was looking at the WRX STI's also but I've read up allot on tests of the two and the Evo...
ive had an evo for 5years now. gotta say, the last three have been a nightmare. always breaking stuff, dumbsht people trying to race you, and the extra attention from our friendly police.
my advice, stay away. but if you cant, keep it stock if this is anything close to a DD.
Really hard choice both are great cars but doesn't the wrx have bigger
storage space(because the kids will always have things to bring with them)
and might be more leg room to because of the new design.
Have you seen the Hyundai Genesis? I know it's a Hyundai, but it is supposedly the most awarded car of 2009. The V8 has 375hp and it's pretty slick on the inside.

I would love to have one. It has a 528 watt Lexicon 7.1 17-speaker surround stereo system, 6 dvd in-dash changer, cooled driver seat, auto leveling HID headlights, and too ...
Get the STi... If you plan to mod the WRX is the better choice by far... Sure you can make more ponies on the Evo, but do you really want to explode a tranny after bolt ons? The AWD transmission in the Evo is garbage compared to the STi's. Also like somebody else mentioned the extra room for cargo.... Or if you wait a year, rumor has it the next evo will be offered in a 5 door hatch as well, ...
i own an 08 STi and extremely happy with it. just went stage 1 i know syzygy owns the evo, and i think neihouma has experience with evos as well. imo you can't go wrong with either. my only suggestion is please remove the rear spoiler
One thing also to consider, is that many people have been complaining about a lot of things on the Evo X. From stuff like paint that chips off easily, gas pedals breaking, random interior things breaking, and some other crap. You should look around on evolutionm.net

I had a chance to drive the convertible last week myself. not so family friendly though and you lose a ton of trunk space where the only hing you can get in the trunk is a umbrella with the top down and maybe a briefcase with the top up. It is a little pricey...

BMW 335i would be a hoot too. Rear wheel drive so you'll get a nicer feeling...

Yeah it def enters a different class and I too would pick a lot of other cars over that one for the . He said he was looking for an Evo so I just found him the best one.
