Hey, all the wrangling is gone. All the personal insult threads, the nasty digs, the accusations, the outing of personal information, the despicable name-calling..... Now we have to start them all over. Darn.

I understand deleting the one thread re: MM/Dade but why delete all the other discussions that were just typical CG stuff with the ever present dose of insults?

Morning, WT. Better start another one for our own sanity, huh? Sven, a coffee, please. Huey and I are golfing again this morning. Actually we're going out about noon to play with some friends. Might get in a little money game. Damn retirement sucks............NOT!!

Another 9/11. I'm so happy that this day seems to be turning into a Day of Service. I'm so sick and tired of all the maudlin crap each year. It gets us nowhere, and if there's one thing those bastards wanted it was the US to cower in fear and to sit around weeping. Well, they got both their wishes under Jr. Now it's time for a change.

Speaking of fear, there goes Knarf now! Wonder what's scaring him this morning. Hmmmmm, must be the economic recovery.

Coffee, Sven. We can enjoy our spam free bar for a short time anyway. I was going to do the yard today, but that 20% chance of rain hit for the fourth time in the last six days. It might dry up enough by late afternoon, but I doubt it. With a football weekend upcoming, it'll be Monday, but that's ok. The grass won't be much longer. All right....I'm trying to decide between some kind of ...

G'day, mates. Is all that posturing and drama queen crap over? For now, anyway. So it's Friday, and even though it was a 4-day week, we still earned a weekend. Let's try and talk some politics without acting like children, whaddaya say? (Good luck on that one, GW.....)

Thanks, BuffGal. We can always count on you to shine the light of Canadian common sense on our American murkiness. I feel so good tonight, I couldn't consider arguing politics. Ever since Mrs. GW and I made the decision not to travel for Thanksgiving and Christmas, our favorite TV program is the evening news, where they show traffic snarls and people stranded at airports.

I'm also shining the light of my daughter on Florida - she has gone there for a week with her boyfriend, to meet his family and celebrate Thanksgiving. Apparently they are dyed-in-the-wool rightwing conservatives. My daughter is a mouthy liberal (no, I don't know where she gets it, so shut up). Should be an interesting week. I hope Miami survives.

I'm doing steak, twice baked potatoes, and salad tonight. I'll start the red beans and rice Thursday night for Friday. Saturday.....either a smoked pork shoulder, ribs, or fried chicken w/gravy and stuff.

There is no game. Why can't you just tell the truth, Rap? It would sound like this: "I beat up on masque because I'm a bully and I enjoy it. I get away with it and I have no sense of shame, so there's no down side for me." Why can't you admit what's perfectly obvious? Are you afraid of losing face?
