Thread: Can't turn off voicemail

Started 3 months, 3 weeks ago by B10Reaper
I have been having this problem for a while now, and it's really irritating. Both me and my girlfriend have voicemail turned off, we never turned it on, and yet whenever we call each other, we either get it after it rings for a while, or sometimes right away. How do we disable it for good?

More info about both Skype versions would be very welcome. Also, did you try to reset, log out (remember your username and password), wait for 15 minutes, log on and turn off again? Ike

I'm using 4.1.0.141, this has been happening since about 6 updates ago. I've been logged out of my account for weeks at a time and it is still happening. This post has been edited by B10Reaper : Mon Aug 17 2009, 19:28

you can only turn off Skype VM while the client is Online if you sign out, VM is always enabled

The problem is when we are both online and it goes to voicemail. I need it off then. How do I do it?

That was never ticked on either of our skypes. We never enabled it or any kind of call forwarding, yet this still happens.

(you should only do this if a personal firewall remains enabled)
