I previously had a wireless router that died and decided to get a modem and use my Time Capsule as the wireless router only. If I remember correctly... I got my DM111P (v1) working by giving it an ip address of 172.36.1.1 and a subnet of 255.255.0.0 I then set the TC to "Share a Public IP address" - and told it to distribute DHCP address in the range 172.16.1.? again with a subnet of 255.255.0.0 This seemed to work - but I was never happy with it, so I swapped to a Linksys AM200. Thanks for replying! It would appear that "Happiness' is not something that Netgear have in abundance! My initial attempt was a fiasco, trying too hard to go by the book, I think. I could not get into the innards to do anything to change configuration. back to the ancient kit. Then, couldn't stand looking at the Star trek version in the box. Reset both TC and Netgear v2. Cabled ...
