This problem has had numerous posts and suggestions, none of which seem to work for me. My environment is two ESX Servers. All my VMs are Windows 2003 Server Enterprise. The vCenter VM is on local storage for one of the servers. The vcb proxy and target VM (I'm trying to do a snapshot) are on the same (DeployVMs) iSCSI LUN (my iSCSI is the software target available with Fedora). Here is the...

( At least in my case the issue was whether it was an HBA-driven SAN or software iSCSI. It obviously wasn't clear to me at the time but '-m san' applies if you are using fibre channel or HBA-based iSCSI. If you are using software iSCSI \(as I am\), access is through the LAN so "-m nbd" applies. ,...

( At least in my case the issue was whether it was an HBA-driven SAN or software iSCSI. It obviously wasn't clear to me at the time but '-m san' applies if you are using fibre channel or HBA-based iSCSI. If you are using software iSCSI \(as I am\), access is through the LAN so "-m nbd" applies. ,
