Thread: Can Anyone Help Please?

Started 5 months ago by Nickmacc
Hope someone can help. I?ve been asked to identify a film from about 25 years ago: Set in the First World War Lead character loses both arms and legs ? only thing working is his mind Manages to indicate that he does not want to live. They turn off his support system but a passing nurse sees this and reconnects Don?t know much else I?m afraid

Sounds like "Johnny Got his Gun" http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0067277/ If you're familiar with the rock band Metallica, the song "One" was inspired by this film and the video to it actually featured clips from the film. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qzCvmUuPLc

Yeah, it was definitely Vanessa Warwick who used to host Headbangers Ball back in the late '80's. I can't believe that's her in the link tho'! She used to look a bit like Lita Ford but what is she now... some kind of property developer or something? What a sell out! I saw The Almighty in Cardiff in 1991, supported by a fantastic American band called Junkyard. Don't know if you've ever...
