The Cambridge Spies DVDs have been sitting on the shelf in the local Borders' British TV section for sometime now(same copy I'm afraid). Being a devoted anglophile I've been eyeing it for sometime now as well. So I was wondering if anyone might give me a recommendation on it. How is it? Is it worth watching? What sort of spy drama is it? I'm even more partial to buying it now since it has the ...

I have the Cambridge Spies DVDs, I have had them for a long time. I first watched the show on BBC America in 2003. Cambridge Spies is based on a true story, but I have read that slight changes have been made to make the story more compelling to viewers. I personally would recommend it, especially if you like British dramas. The acting is superb, all 4 "spies" played by RPJ, Toby Stephens, ...

I saw Cambridge Spies on TV. It was the true story about 4 friends at Cambridge University who became British/Russian double agents. I liked it very much, but still haven't got around to ordering the DVDs. Now that I remember, I will order them. The cast was absolutely superior, just like Milesey said. Rupert Penry-Jones (Adam Carter in MI-5) played Donald Mclean, a very nervous, almost naive ...
