I'll pass. I did my OW at CSSP in Jan 07. 46-degree water. 35-degree air. Never again!

We just came back from Balmorhea. Although it is a long drive and the "spring" is very small (about 20 minutes to slowly swim up and back) but it is warm (75 degrees last week), crystal clear and a ton of fish. And the funky l'il dive shop is great (tell Darrel I said HI!) Great to get wet in winter time. Plus you can drive over to McDonald Observatory (after a careful SIT since you are going...
