I got acrylic nails a month ago and I really like them a lot. I got them painted a really pretty neutral pink color. They were standing strong and sturdy. My natural nails started to grow out under the acrylic and polymer and the polish was fading a bit on the outer edges. It looked a bit silly, but I figured I'd wait to get them touched up on a day when I would have a lot of time to kill....

Getting infills/refills/a rebalance whatever you like to call it, is a piece of cake! Basically, they'll buff down the acrylics, re apply more acrylic in the gap where the nail has grown out and a little over the rest of the nail, buff some more and re-shape any nails that need it. Bec, thank you! I feel so much better now. I was worried that they might have to re-do all of my nails. My only concern now is how much they will charge for the maintenance. Getting them in the first place costed me $25, which is a great price. Hope they won't charge more than $20 for the touch up.

I'm not that up to speed on prices in the US for nails, but generally it's about half what you paid for the set in the first place.

Usually a fill is about half price here and having one replaced/repaired is a couple of dollars. Sorry about your nail. I just ripped my thumbnail down to the skin

I'm not that up to speed on prices in the US for nails, but generally it's about half what you paid for the set in the first place.
