Thread: Browser Data Cache Fix?

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by DHermit
Every time I want to backup my device I have to do it manually due to me needing to go to advanced in the desktop software and clear the "Browser Data Cache". It's really annoying since I've had to do this manually for years. Is there any fix for this known issue? Thanks in advance.

Wirelessly posted I tried to download an app xenozu I think and it has the progress bar next to it but it doesn't move. Any help?

Solved it! The cause of the problem has to do with the Windows Registry not having permission to to register the files. This is not a hard problem to fix. Here is what I did if anyone runs into this problem. 1. Download the SubInACL tool and install it (google search it). By default it will install to c:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools 2. If you are running Windows Vista, ...

hey guys, i just try to wipe out a it policy and after that appears a message 507, i think its blank, how i can reload the os to the Blackberry?

jsconyers replied 3 months, 1 week ago
Welcome to the forums. Follow these steps : http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.p..._BlackBerry %3F You selected the wrong option. You need to select ResetToFactory, not Wipe Handheld. You will most likely still have the IT policy on the device when you reload the OS.

I have an 8330 Curve on Sprint, had it a little over a year now and just recently (since Sunday) I am not able to login to my Y! messenger on the phone anymore. When I attempt to, I get an error message that I have an incorrect username or password and I assure you both are correct, since they are the same ones I use on my PC to log into my Y! messenger account. Someone else posted ...

I have a question with regards to your incorrect username and password problem: are you making sure you didn't make a typo while typing it in? Make sure you look closely. Sometimes you could have added a space before or after a word and it wouldn't be noticeable.

montanaxvi replied 3 months, 1 week ago
Nope, no typo. The pw and username were stored and I just hit the sign in button to log in normally which is what I have been doing for the past year. I have typed, retyped and reinstalled Y! messenger and put the information in again and it still says incorrect username or password.

montanaxvi replied 3 months, 1 week ago
And now it is working. So for 2 days and many installs it kept saying my username or pw was wrong, and now it isn't. Nice

Check the FAQ for the wiping device with JL_CMDer that will have instructions for completely removing the software and reloading it.

Welcome to the forums. What happens when you press N while in the message? It should take you to the new message. Have you tried a battery pull?

Well glad something is working for you. I too would find it frustrating, very time consuming and not very reader friendly. I use mobipocket and it works pretty well, but I think if I were in your shoes I would buy a kindle!

Here's what I'm trying to do. I have two emails on my BB (gmail and sprint). I am syncing two calendars (work through Outlook and personal through gcal). I want one calendar to sync with gmail, one to sync with sprint. I don't care which is the "default". I sync to my gcal using the Google Sync app. I sync to work via DM --> Outlook. When I sync with Outlook, I do not want my personal calendar to...
