It's not terribly common, but does happen on occasion. You need to remove it and see how much damage has been done. If it broke and dropped into the cylinder you need to remove/inspect the cylinder, too.

Remove all Advertisements
My right side power valve broke on me the other day while riding. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

i already took the cylinder apart and it hit the piston and took out the ring. Im waiting on a cylinder from ebay to come that has the power valves in it. $0 dollars for a complete jug is cheaper than $120 for just one valve
