So, I have been scared out of using standard baby bumpers. However, I do want some kind of "lining" between my baby's head and limbs and the crib bars.
I came across something called "BreathableBaby - Breathable Safer Bumper".

Has anyone heard of it? and what does everyone think?
i have one from Ry. i got it at BRU when he started to climb ontop of his other bumper. i liked it...just took me a bit to get it to fit the crib since i have one of the simplicity combo changer ones so it had a solid side.
We used this for DS and it definitely eased our bumper pad fears a lot. DS has always been a flipper, roller and mover when he is sleeping, so we decided not to ever use a regular bumper with him. The only thing about the breathable bumper is it doesn't offer any padding to body parts, so DS did hit his head several times, but once he learned the boudaries of the crib he stopped running into the...
Great that your able to co-sleep and find it a lifestyle that works for you. Co-sleeping was never an option for us (although I envy those that can) and the usual bumpers that are sold in stores that aren't breathable pose a significant risk. I really don't understand why the manufacturers still make comforters, bumpers, etc for cribs? By the time the baby is out of danger of SIDS, ...
I'm sorry but I don't understand how a piece of NET can be called a "bumper". It's a net to keep baby from sticking things through the rails...not from rolling into it.
I have a beautiful crib set, and have no intentions of my LO sleeping in her cribs until she's at the age where the risk of SIDS dramatically decreases.

Loved the breathable bumper, I had one in white I used until she was old enough to not stick her limbs through the crib. The issue I had is that she would always end up directly in the corner of the crib where her arms would get stuck so I needed something safe that kept her arms inside. Would recommend them highly.
Call me whatever you like, Im not wasting my money on a breathe-able bumper.

I will be co-sleeping, until she's sleeping through the night.
