That bizarre combination of cute on the one hand, and frighteningly evil and intimidating on the other, was just hilarious. That kid obviously knows how to act. Bet you he knows how to make people laugh too. I think he might be my new hero.

Yes, his performance was one of my favorite things about the movie! He managed to be quite genuinely intimidating, which is a great achievement from a child actor. You can see he has talent; He was fantastic. And so frigging badass, too! Movies don't create psychos, movies make psychos more creative.

In one of the extras they show an outtake of the scene where RDJ is disguised as the farmer talking to Brandon's character. RDJ was saying ridiculous stuff like about chicken vaginas, and Brandon was cracking up. When I saw that I realized that we never see him smile in the movie -- he was very convincing. Oh, yeah, pwnage of the first water. Totally makes up for accidentally catching some of the second Indy movie on cable, and the character that Shall Not Be Named. I wouldn't waste a genie wish on it, but i'd like to live in an alternate reality where that movie, and quite a few other things, went another way entirely.
