Thread: Brake Controller Problems

I tow a camper and my camper brakes do not work. My truck is a 2006 Chevy 2500 HD. You can apply the brakes manually by moving the lever on the controller. I have checked the wire that leads to the controller and where it plugs in under the dash. Is there a certain fuse that would cause this? I know there is a 30A trailer fuse under the hood that I replaced but that hasn't helped. Any ...

Sounds like either the trigger wire from the brake pedal is not hooked up, or the controller is not adjusted properly. What model is it?

The controller is a Tekonsha Prodigy.

Here's the Tekonsha website page for the Prodigy. I didn't watch the videos. http://www.tekonsha.com/product/details.as...85&ca t=1435 This is the Prodigy installation sheet. It tells you how to set up the controller. It says to use the generic wiring diagram, which I didn't find. http://www.tekonsha.com/product/details.as...85&ca t=1435
