Thread: Bowlers??

pro bowling I last bowled about 5 years ago in a league. If you really want to see how you'll do as a pro join a league like my last one where they change the oil patterns every 3 weeks. This was specifically done to get bowlers accustomed to the condition changes. First week starts 2nd arrow to 2nd arrow 3/4 of the way down. Anybody bowl in a league?? This is my 5th year bowling on a team with my dad. Had a career night last night--games of 258, 214, and 279 for a 751 series. Might have to begin thinking of a new career!!LOL!!!!

I used to bowl on a league. Everyone in the league hated our team because we drank too much and made alot of noise. Or it could be the fact that we won the league a couple years in a row. We had alot of fun, but I dont miss waking up on Friday morning with a massive hangover.

I bowl on Monday Nights. Avg. was 201. Bowled 565 last Monday, so down it goes. Congrat's on the 751

used to bowl on 3 leagues a week. out of all of them, the 1 handicap league was the fun one. they drank more and had alot more fun bowling. in the 2 scratch leagues i averaged 203 and 207. the handicap league was 189 lots of beer frames congrats on the 751. every 700+ series should be considered an accomplishment.

I use to bowl when I was in college (intramural league). It was a blast! We had a lot of fun. I wish I still had time for such things. Congrats on your great night, CPA!

The 'shot' that is laid out for leagues is absolutely NOTHING like what a pro bowls on. The touring pros will average in the 240's most of the time on a normal league pattern.
