Anyone ever find bones' reaction toward social situations and her lack of understanding REALLY odd. I mean it's all fine if she was unaware of a system of superstition or something that wasn't connected to science but as an anthropologist, social interactions are somewhat key elements. For example she doesn't seem to pick up sarcasm or subtle unspoken signals. Yet i bet if someone had the ...

Well obviously it's played for laughs and yes it doesn't make sense at times, but it's meant to be for our amusement. What doesn't gel though is the fact that she's a world-famous author who must write characters who have emotions.
