Thread: Bogans is making me think different about him.

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by crazytlingit
I've been pleasantly surprised with Bogans. He moves will out there and I didn't know he was a driver as well as a shooter. His defense has been solid and he is firing up the team at times. Finely has been lost the last few games because he hasn't been able to keep up and his defense has been lacking. So it will interesting to see if Bogans can keep it up. I was a good game tonight, there ...

I KNOW RJ is our biggest and Mcdyess was talked about as well, then we drafted Blair too. I think I know why Pop picked up this guy now, he is seriously with time going to be a surpise and a player IMO, especially on D! Was that our sleeper pickup out of all of them?

After one good game? I'll start thinking differently about Bogans after 20 games. $

Whether or not he keeps it up, he is extremely athletic. Defensively, I think he can keep it up. And the man can jump out of the gym if anyone hadn't noticed.

Bogans should definitely be the starter - his shot will not always be what it was last night but his effort defensively is consistent and he had some really nice d on Howard, Terry, and Kidd - I wish he was 3 inches taller but hes the closest thing to a 2006-2007 Bowen on the roster The other thing is if Bogans cements his starting status certainly makes a trade of Mason or Finley more likely

He seems like what we expected when we got Udoka. A very aggressive defender (not as good as Bruce) but better offensively. Lets hope he keeps it up...his physicality and toughness was great to see (plus hearing him yell "GET THAT $%#& OUT OF HERE" when he rejected Marion was awesome).

Bogans gives us the strength of Udoka and the hustle of Bowen. He's a better defender than I thought he was. And better athleticism than we've had in a superior defender, at least since Sean. Offensively, he's going to be up and down. He's not a great shooter. Little worse than Finley. But he's more versatile than Finley or Bowen. In his career, he's had a tendency to shoot more than ...

he's just a great overall find and pickup!

I can't think of a player we could get back for Mason who would bring more to the table....
