Thread: Blood test feedback requested

Started 2 months, 1 week ago by SPR1GGAN
Just wanted to get some feedback from the pros. I know this forum is on its way out, but there are still a few of you left! I am currently talking to an MD that specializes in Anti-Aging (will optimize hormone levels even when not outside of normal range), and have just gotten my first blood test back. I'm looking at the numbers and I wanted some feedback. Albumin, Serum 5.0 HDL 39 LDL ...

I'm surprised not to see SHBG in that list, unless it came back normal and you didn't mention it for that reason. It can have a dramatic effect on free vs. bound testosterone. You're right in that your total testosterone is within normal range (which is subjective) and that your free or bioavailable testosterone is probably binding to proteins. I know of several men who have high production of...

Good point Kroms but his Estradiol is 19 most men not on TRT and some on it SHBG goes up with Estradiol levels in lock step. If nothing is wrong then I would think his SHBG would not be very high with a Estradiol level of 19. He needs more labs and yes SHBG but Cortisol and Thyroid needs to be down here is a link to labs I tell men to get adding to this Total T4 and T3. http://forums....

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll talk to the doc tomorrow and see what he says. I'm a little concerned about my TSH being @ 4.0. That's at the high end of the spectrum and can signify hypothyroidism. I personally think I need more tests... but we'll see what the Doc says! I'm concerned about my thyroid levels though... I'll talk to the doc tomorrow and see.

Doc advised 500mg / week of HCG & a 60G cream of 10% Chrysin / 10% Progesterone. The tube should last 7 months. My FSH and LH levels were low to begin with, so 500mg may be plenty for my needs. We'll just have to wait and see. I'll go 10 weeks @ 500mg a week (250mg two times a week) and see how I feel. I may opt for going with 125mg EOD instead of 250 2x a week to keep my levels more ...

You don't do HCG in shots of MGS you do them in IU's so if you have HCG mixed in a 10 ml. vial and it's 10,000 IU's mixed to do 500 IU's it's a shot of .5 mls. not 500mgs and it's best to do this the 2 days each at 250 IU's day before your next T shot. This keeps down Estradiol levels and keeps your more leveled. Quote: Originally Posted by SPR1GGAN...
