I actually have my own personal blog and I use WordPress.I was able to set up a MySQL database rather easily (got WP Docs - you allrock!), and got up and running within days.Within weeks I had more visitors than I expected and I am more than happywith my organic rankings. I hit the top 20 for almost everything I searchfor (with the exception of the really big ones and I am pretty realistic inthat...

We use Wordpress for our company blog, but it was already set up when I gothere. I'll be redesigning the blog soon so I'm looking more into WP andBlogger to see what each has to offer. Seems like the majority stronglyprefers WP, so I'll be looking more into that one.

I dont know if this is has alreayd been said, but wordpress does offer freehosting at wordpress.com , however, you have to buys credits in order toedit your theme, change the domain, as well as other features that would befree if you had it on your own server. And you get a yourname.wordpress.comdomain.I am trying blogsome.com for my blog ( evergreenmobileservices.blogsome.com- Just started the ...

I've just 'switched' from Blogger to Blogger beta - and now they do havecategorising (labels, or such). The waiting for 'publishing' is also athing of the past. There MUST be seo benefits, and visitor-friendliness benefits, in havingall posts with the same theme viewable in one page. Choose your 'labels'with care!

I am currently using Movable Type. It is a fairly mature and stableproduct. Like Wordpress, it requires you to have MySQL installed at yourhost. After hearing a lot of good things about Wordpress, I may have tocheck it out.I have also tried b2evolution, blogger, and one other which escapes me.It's funny someone mentioned that blogger helps you get ranked in Googlefaster. I quit blogger ...

If this newbie can get through it, then almost anyone can. It took sometime, research, and testing, but I got WP up and running. I spent a weekslooking for just the right theme. It's cool with a click of a button and abrand new theme was running. Then came integrating Adsense. I thought forsure that I wasn't going to be able to do it without some PHP or Java orsomething related to programing to ...

I am currently using both. I started with Blogger but I moved to WordPress after realizing about some benefits. I continue using Blogger to duplicate the content that I post in WordPress. Just to have more chances to get traffic from different places to my website. One of the advantages that I found using WordPress is that you can setup categories (which is also a disadvantage if you want to use...
