Blacktail. The Punisher is a piece of crap. Who cares about shooting through 5 enemies at once if it takes 20 ****ing bullets to actually kill them? And that's assuming they decide to line up for you, which they rarely ever do. So yeah. Blacktail.

Does anyone know which is the better handgun to max out? I usually buy the Blacktail and sell the Punisher as soon as I can. Blacktail rounds don't go through the freaks like Punisher rounds but maxed out the Blacktail is decent. I just want to know which gun is better 'cause I'm at the first merchant in the castle who sells the Blacktail for my pro run. I need to know the better of the two ...

The Punisher is pretty good in the castle, but really the Blacktail will serve you better throughout the game.

I can agree that the Blacktail is the superior weapon. That being said, I have found out recently that the Punisher is actually very useful in certain situations. Its' effectiveness versus shielded enemies cannot be underestimated. I recently did a run without any type of rifle or shotgun and the Punisher makes up the difference in not having either of those two types of weapons. It makes the ...

umm screw both and get a red9, if your doing a run in which your excluding it, go with the blacktail
