Sorry to hear you had a stroke. I was trying bio oil for stretch marks. I haven't kept up with it. I think I read it was good for your face also. All in all I liked it and if I was still working I would buy more.
I say give it shot, can't hurt....
I've always meant to try it to, it can't hurt. I say give it a shot for a couple weeks.
I'm really into natural stuff, so I can't remember the ingradients but I think it definitely got me interested.
No doubt it's better that that super chemically stuff that makes everything worse.
PS - I was wondering about those Yaz commercials and the lawsuit ones. That pisses me off that there ...
Thank you so much! I am certainly trying and feeling a ton better all ready!
I have been trying bio out over my face serum and under my eye cream and foundation primer for maybe 3 days now? I don't know about healing effects but it certainly does make your skin super soft!...
Oh dear! A stroke! How horrible. I hope you are feeling better now. This confirms that I really don't want to go back on the pill. Here I was thinking it was maybe related to the drugs and alcohol. Pfffft I swear prescriptions are just as evil!
As for the topic. I'm using it now on a scar from a mole I had removed. Seems alright so far. I don't think I would put it on my face though. Oil on ...

Bio Oil isn't anything terribly special -- it's mostly mineral oil, with a bunch of other oils thrown in, along with some antioxidants. Properly prepared and stabilized antioxidants are great for skin, and the mineral oil and some of the other oils are fine. Problematic is the fact that it contains lavender oil, rosemary oil, and citrus oils, and other fragrance/masking substances, all of which ...
It's been a while since I looked it up. I'n not a fan of mineral oil myself.
Actually lavender oil is good for your skin as far as everything I've read. It is soothing and antiseptic.
Oil actually prevents breakouts for me. It balances my skin, but maybe mine is dry?
Keep us updated....

Sorry ... it may have mild antiseptic properties, but that's outweighed by the other factors:

Hmm maybe my skin isn't sensitive? It's been working out great for me so far, however I wouldn't recommend it for super sensitive or super oily skin. Or if they have that maybe add a ...

I think I'm going to go back to oils again - coconut, shea, jojoba. I used to nake homemade...
Makes me want to try it. Jojoba - the only thing I remember is everyone says it's the closest to human body oil and therefore great. But, I can't remember. Willing to try it all again of course. I'll let you know, it's my next "beauty" purchase. kittygirl View Public Profile Find More Posts by kittygirl

I used Bio Oil on my boob job scars. It worked great! After four weeks I noticed a difference. I now use it on my face at night. It makes my skin soft and fades my pigmentation marks:-) Every woman is a goddess http://www.ebonygoddexxx.blogspot.com ebonygoddexxx View Public Profile Find More Posts by ebonygoddexxx
I haven't used bio-oil, but I do use a mixture of pure shea & cocoa butter on my face-absolutely awesome results. And, generally, natural oils absorb into your skin as long as your skin is damp when you apply the oil. ChoclatDiva21 View Public Profile Find More Posts by ChoclatDiva21
